It was a privilege to be asked by Hertfordshire Zoo to open their new, state of the art gibbon habitat today.
Hertfordshire Zoo is a real gem which we're so lucky to have on our doorsteps in the constituency of Broxbourne. Gibbons are a critically endangered species, and I am proud to support the Zoo's conservation projects.
The whole team at the zoo do a great job educating visitors about wildlife. I was grateful for the chance to tour the zoo with CEO Lynn Whitnall and Director Tyler Whitnall, and I even had a go at feeding Siberia the Tiger!
